FIVE people travelling from the Telkom Knockout final in Durban on Saturday night were seriously injured when their minibus taxi crashed , KwaZulu-Natal paramedics said yesterday.
The taxi crashed into a curb and struck a light pole on the corner of Smith and Brook streets in Durban, Netcare 911 spokesperson Jeffrey Wicks said.
The injured were taken to Addington Hospital. The occupants were said to be travelling from the cup final between Ajax Cape Town and Kaizer Chiefs. - Sapa
