Doctor Tshimbiluni Mavhungu Mathivha, head of cardiology at the Steve Biko Academic hospital in Pretoria, is no more.
She enrolled for a medical degree at the then University of Natal and later went on to study in the United Kingdom and became a cardiologist.
Mathivha, who had a passion for medicine, will be buried in Sibasa, Thohoyandou, on Sunday.
She is survived by two brothers and three sisters. - Sowetan Reporter
