SOUTH African sports legends Mbulaeni Mulaudzi, Makhaya Ntini and John Smith have been roped in by Fifa as some of the assistants for the 2010 World Cup final draw.

Sowetan has learnt that the trio will join the who's who of global soccer during the historic final draw at the International Convention Centre in Cape Town on Friday night.

Some of the top soccer brass who are already in the country for the draw include Fifa president Sepp Blatter and Jerome Valcke.

Ruud Gullit, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Franz Beckenbauer and Diego Maradona are some of the soccer greats who will also invade the Mother City.

Renowned actress Charlize Theron returns to the country of her birth.
