A 15-YEAR-OLD girl has drowned in the Elliot River near Mthatha.
Eastern Cape police spokesperson Superintendent Mzukisi Fatyela said yesterday that the girl was trying to cross the river on Tuesday afternoon. Her body was recovered later the same day.
It was not known where she was headed, said Fatyela. - Sapa
