Some sun and moon facts:

Our sun is enormous - more than 300 000 times larger than the earth.

The moon has many more craters and scars than the earth because it has a lot less natural activity going on, the earth is constantly reforming its surface through earthquakes, erosion, rain, wind and plants growing on the surface. Footprints and tyre tracks left behind by astronauts on the moon will stay there forever because there is no wind to blow them away.

We have high and low tides on earth because of the gravity of the sun and the moon.
