A LAWYER representing a Vaal woman accused of killing her husband has called for her acquittal.
Advocate Mhlobo Tonyela yesterday told the Vereeniging circuit court that her client Dikeledi Kimbie was framed by her former lover, Nehemia Sithole.
"My client was framed and there is no evidence linking her to the case. I want the court to use Sithole's evidence with caution."
Dikeledi is accused of killing her husband Zongezile Kimbie on March 2 2006 in Sebokeng, Vaal.
Sithole confessed and pleaded guilty to the murder and is serving a life sentence. - Ntwaagae Seleka
