PREMIER Soccer League prosecutor Zola Majavu confirmed yesterday that Jomo Sono and Jomo Cosmos would appear before the PSL disciplinary committee on charges of failure to comply with a directive of the league.

Sono failed to avail himself for the post-match television interview in the Absa Premiership match between Wits and Cosmos on October 4. He will attend a hearing at the league's offices on Monday.

Meanwhile, in a PSL DC hearing on Tuesday night, Moroka Swallows player Collins Mbesuma pleaded guilty to a charge of misconduct relating to unsportsmanlike behaviour.

Mbesuma violently kicked Francis Chansa in the face in the match against Wits on September 23. He was fined R20000, of which R15000 is suspended for 12 months, and will have to issue a written apology. - Sapa
