SIMUNYE Mbokodo, a charity organisation based in Soweto, is focusing on helping the elderly in partnership with Sowetan.
They have boxes at various shopping centres where people can deposit their written complaints.
Lucy Thusi, Simunye Mbokodo's chairperson, said the idea came after a granny was killed by her son who was under the influence of drugs in Rockville three months ago.
"The granny was also sexually abused by her son for a long time, but the community in her area kept quite," Thusi said. - Penwell Dlamini
