SOWETO police arrested 14 people in Zola and Zondi for various crimes when they conducted raids in the area, a spokesman said yesterday .
Inspector Kay Makhuvele said those arrested on Tuesday night were wanted for crimes including housebreaking, theft, possession of stolen goods, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
The suspects will all appear in the Protea magistrate's court today. - Sapa
