TWO police officers died when their van swerved to avoid a kudu on the road between Cradock and Middelburg, Eastern Cape police said yesterday .
Inspector Cynthia Nkamba said the accident happened on Friday night when three police officers from Swartkops were travelling to Cradock.
One officer died on the scene. The other two were taken to hospital, where one later died. - Sapa
