POLICE operations in Soweto have resulted in 282 arrests, Gauteng police said yesterday .
The 282 were arrested for crimes ranging from rape, murder, possession of stolen vehicles and armed robbery, said Inspector Kay Makhubela.
Those arrested are expected to appear in court today . - Sapa
