THE Limpopo department of roads and transport has moved swiftly to suspend its general manager of corporate support on allegations of nepotism.
Diphoko Mahango was suspended on Wednesday after he was found to have allegedly awarded a departmental bursary to his son. He was suspended on full pay.
Department spokesperson Boiki Tsedu said the decision was in keeping with the commitment by the government to ensure that its officials were beyond reproach and "enhanced the highest level of professional ethics".
