THE decomposed body of a man was found in an abandoned, house on the corner of Landros Mare and Ressic streets in Polokwane yesterday.
The police said they were tipped off by neighbours who complained about a terrible smell coming from the property.
Police spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe said the body could have been in the house since last week.
He said the cause of death was not known and investigations into the matter were continuing.
