NEHAWU has threatened to disrupt the South African Revenue Service centres throughout the country today.

NEHAWU has threatened to disrupt the South African Revenue Service centres throughout the country today.

This comes after striking Sars employees yesterday received SMSes stating that money will be deducted from their salaries.

One of the messages reads: "It has been confirmed that you were on strike on September 7. The no-work-no-pay rule will apply. R1188 will be deducted from your next pay. Sars management."

Sars is offering between 9 percent and 11 percent wage increase while union is demanding 12,8 percent. - Pertunia Ratsatsi
