THE Aganang municipality in Limpopo, from where Caster Semenya comes, has organised transport to ferry the family, including her granny Mmaphuti Sekgala, pictured, to welcome their beloved relative at the OR Tambo International Airport tomorrow morning.
THE Aganang municipality in Limpopo, from where Caster Semenya comes, has organised transport to ferry the family, including her granny Mmaphuti Sekgala, pictured, to welcome their beloved relative at the OR Tambo International Airport tomorrow morning.
Municipal spokesperson Malesela Maubane said it was a way of honouring her.
"But this will not be the first time we do it because Semenya was initially honoured as the municipality's 2009 sports personality of the year," Maubane said.
Yesterday Semenya's family said it was looking forward to welcoming her .
Said Caster's mother, Dorcus: "We can't wait for her to touch base."
