CLOTHING retailer Truworths posted a 14percent rise in headline earnings per share, driven by higher prices and new stores.

The company said yesterday it expected trading conditions to remain tough in the second half of the year.

Truworths said retail sales for the period increased 11percent to R6,24billion while product inflation sat at about 10percent. - Reuters
