KWAZULU-NATAL MEC for human settlements and public works Maggie Govender has lashed out at the DA for "falsely" accusing her of not pitching for last week's sitting of the provincial legislature.
The DA chief whip expressed dissatisfaction about six of the 10 MECs being absent.
Govender's office said she had attended the sitting but came late as agreed with the speaker.
Her spokesperson, Nkululeko Ngcamu, said Govender honoured her departmental commitment and then attended the sitting.
