LAGOS - Twenty passengers forced at gunpoint to lie on a road while robbers ransacked their bus were crushed to death in a freak accident when a truck ran into them, it was reported yesterday.
The robbers hijacked the bus on the Sagamu-Benin expressway in Ogun State early on Saturday, forcing the passengers to lie on the road face-down while they went through their belongings in the vehicle.
The truck, which was travelling along the same road, ploughed into the passengers killing 20 of them.- Sapa-AFP
