ABOUT 200 motorcyclists braved a chilly start to a winters morning yesterday in the name of charity.
Taking part in the inaugural Winter Warmer Bikers Run, the motorcyclists rode from Pinehaven, Krugersdorp, all the way to Sun City in North West, where hundreds of blankets were donated for distribution to various communities in the Rustenburg area.
One of the organisers of the ride, Tia Mthethwa, said: "It's also a way of making this winter a little more bearable for those less fortunate."- Bruce Fraser
