THE Excellence Award for Best Workplace Programme was given to Anglo Coal in Washington DC this week. it was given by the Global Business Coalition on HIV-Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria for its pioneering workplace programme, which focuses on tackling HIV-Aids in South Africa. All Anglo Coal employees are actively encouraged to test annually. Employees who test positive can enrol in a free HIV management programme offering care, support and treatment.
