BREE Primary School have built their preparations for the International Danone Nations Cup in Brazil in October around two players who featured in last year's tournament in France: wingers Xolani Zwane and Lebohang Matakanya.

Devanand Kalicharran, the school's principal and team manager, said: "The new players in the squad are being motivated by Xolani and Lebohang's presence. They are learning a lot from them.

"The two players have a crucial role to play for us in Brazil."

Bree qualified for this event two years in a row after winning the national championships.

They came eighth in France last year.
