I AM surprised at the way King Mswati of Swaziland treats his people.
Swaziland is the same as Robert Mugabe's Zimbabwe because Mswati treats his people with indignity. Instead of spending his riches on the poor, he took his 13 wives on a shopping trip to Europe and the Middle East where he spent R30million.
More than 42 percent of that country's 1,1 million people are infected with HIV-Aids. It is the highest rate of infection in the world.
In 2008 the king spent R15million on his 39th birthday party where his friend Mugabe was a guest.
That money would have been better spent on antiretrovirals.
