A THIRD police reservist died in hospital yesterday afternoon after a road accident in Clarens, Free State police said.
This brought to eight the number of people killed in road accidents in the province yesterday, Sergeant Mmako Mophiring said.
A constable had been taking five reservists from Ficksburg to QwaQwa for "enlistment" when their bakkie overturned. The officer died in the Dihlabeng Hospital, while a female reservist was discharged. Two other reservists died on the scene. - Sapa
