HAMZER Ngwenya, the local municipality speaker in Emakhazeni, Mpumalanga, has pledged R50000 towards the staging of the Youth Mayoral Tournament at Vusi Masina Stadium, in Waterval Boven, on Saturday from 8am.
Themba Nkosi, one of the tournament's organisers, said their main aim was to give young players a chance to showcase their talents and to develop their skills and personalities.
Soccer, netball and volleyball games are on the menu for Saturday.
Winners in each category will receive a floating trophy, gold medals and R7500 in cash. - Richard Nkosi
