The bus was taken from the Coca-Cola Dome at Northgate to Ellis Park on Thursday night.

The total travel time from the park-and-ride location to the stadium and back was about an hour and passed pleasantly enough.

The only problem was that many people still drove their cars to the stadium.

The roads around Ellis Park were blocked, however, and adjacent roads only had single lanes allocated to the Gauride facility.

After the game we were told to catch the iTransi where we were dropped off.

With 52000 spectators, this was slightly difficult.

But marshals were waiting to help soccer fans and enough buses and taxis waited to transport fans back to their vehicles at various spots.
