THREE men were expected to appear in the East London magistrate's court yesterday for three unrelated murder incidents, Eastern Cape police said.

THREE men were expected to appear in the East London magistrate's court yesterday for three unrelated murder incidents, Eastern Cape police said.

One of the men was arrested for allegedly killing his 22-year-old wife following a squabble, said Superintendent Mtati Tana.

Also arrested on Sunday was a man accused of being a member of a gang that stabbed a 24-year-old man to death in the Needs Camp.

Another 22-year-old man was arrested on Saturday after he stabbed a drunk man to death in the city. The victim is said to have kicked down the man's door. - Sapa
