THE Safa general elections in September have generated interest even from political parties.
Azapo is one. They have thrown their weight behind Irvin Khoza, below, to lead the federation.
In a statement issued yesterday, Azapo said it had learnt with dismay of the intentions to divide Safa by people calling themselves "Football Transformation Forum".
The forum was formed by some of the soccer administrators who have endorsed Danny Jordaan as candidate for president.
Malakia Maepa, Azapo Limpopo publicity secretary, said: "Azapo can't understand why this splinter group cannot explore all avenues created by the Safa constitution to resolve their concerns.
"The intentions to split Safa can only be seen as opportunistic and anti-patriotism."
