Anna Majavu's report "Dawn of a new era on May 7" stated: "IFP leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi left the house without congratulating [President] Zuma citing [urgent business] at home."
Prince Buthelezi had personally congratulated Zuma across the aisle and his congratulatory message was read on his behalf by the Reverend Musa Zondi, IFP secretary-general.
The prince unfortunately had to leave early to catch the late afternoon flight to Durban to attend to a pressing matter.
