The inaugural Nashua Mobile Winnie Mandela Park Dream League for under-12s gets off the ground in Tembisa tomorrow.

Twelve primary schools in the area will battle it out in the tournament at Reagile Primary School sports field in Winnie Mandela Park informal settlement.

The league was launched in Ekurhuleni at the weekend with the intention of developing the youth in the sprawling township.

It is sanctioned by the department of education at Ekurhuleni North District in partnership with Nashua Mobile company.

The league has been divided into boys and girls sections, with the finals set for September.

The league is a Dreamfields project.

The non-profit organisation aims to build new fields and upgrade existing sports facilities in poor and rural areas in at least 32 regional soccer centres by the end of 2010.

All schools taking part were supplied with playing kit and soccer boots by the company.

Boys Group A: Reagile v Shukumani; Tlamatlama v Isekelo; Marhulana v Mashimong

Group B: Khulasizwe v Moriting; Sedibeng v Thembinkosi, Thlakanang v Tshepisa.

Girls Group A: Isekelo v Moriting; Tlamatlama v Thlakanang; Khulasizwe v Thembinkosi.

Group B: Marhulana v Mashimong, Reagile v Sedibeng, Shukumani v Tshepisa.
