Safa has challenged KwaZulu-Natal, the hosts of this year's edition of Metropolitan under-19 national championship, to attract more people to the grounds.

The challenge was raised yesterday during the draw onducted in Durban.

The championship will be held in Ethekwini from March 29 to April 4.

Limpopo were last year's hosts with a good crowd.

"We anticipate an entertaining event because the standard and quality of football has steadily improved over the four years of Safa's successful partnership with Metro-politan and continues to do so," said Morio Sanyane, Safa's director of competitions.

Gauteng, the defending champions, are in group B with last year's runner-ups North West, Eastern Cape and Western Cape, while group A comprises KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Northern Cape, Free State and Mpumalanga.
