The Storm-damaged Mpumalanga 2010 World Cup Mbombela Stadium is yet to be repaired as authorities try to replace a damaged crane.
One of the stadium's main contractor tower cranes collapsed on January 4 during a severe storm in Nelspruit that uprooted trees and damaged buildings and houses.
"We are struggling to replace the crane because they are in short supply," said 2010 coordinator Differ Mogale.
"We have asked for the one that was at Orlando Stadium and we hope to get it soon."
