The event brought together all the glamorous people of South Africa to witness the coronation of a new Miss South Africa.
And when the tenacious Tatum Keshwar finally walked away with the crown, everyone felt she truly deserved it. But for a while it was touch and go between her and popular Capetonian Anja van Zyl.
Packed to the rafters, the Superbowl at Sun City was the picture of style.
Guests lost their inhibitions and got down to old school music.
The only fly in the ointment was the low-key affair Miss Teen SA became when it was hosted on Saturday night in Johannesburg - at the same time as the Miss World.
