The 16 local teams in the tourney will battle for the R8000 first prize thanks to Ike Pula, the tournament's organiser.
Pula said the tournament is aimed at unearthing talent.
"This area does not have either a Vodacom League or National First Division club despite there being a lot of talent here. We are calling on scouts from the SAB League to the Absa Premiership to come in their numbers to identify talent," said Pula.
