A new faster tool that measures CD4 cells in people living with HIV-Aids is now available in South Africa.

BD FACSCount, as it is known, will enable doctors and nurses to know when to initiate antiretroviral therapy.

"The new BD FACSCount CD4 reagents enable healthcare providers to use one test to provide care for all patients of all ages," said Nick Bright, general manager of BD in Kenya.
