PLEASE CUT ANC national executive committee member and Gauteng education MEC Angie Motshekga is well educated. So is her husband Mathole, a former Gauteng premier. I'm sure she would like her kids to have a good education for them to have a better life.

At the weekend, she told youth at the ANCYL celebration that education is not important for one to be a leader. She later claimed that she was quoted out of context.
Motshekga has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately. First, the ANCWL president caused a stir by calling ANC dissidents "dogs".
Then she said education was not important for leadership. This is a person who might become Gauteng's premier or a cabinet minister in the future.
Is she competing with ANCYL leader Julius Malema and Cosatu's Zwelinzima Vavi?
