He might have brought tribal politics to the fore but that is not as bad as crony politics.
Mosiuoa Lekota's group might look like a multicultural mix of individuals but I doubt if the cronyism he has learnt from his mentor, good old Mzizi, will come to an end.
We must ask ourselves when we vote next year: which is worse for this country, a crony politician or a kind, tribalist who has a soft spot for the people.
The choice is clear.
