ANC treasurer Mathews Phosa is smiling all the way to the bank with R29,4million pledged for next year's ANC election campaign.
The pledges, made on Tuesday during a meeting with ANC president Jacob Zuma in Sandton, is a show of solidarity organised by Sandile Zungu of Zungu Investments, Sello Rasethaba of Matodzi Resources and Robert Gumede of GijimaAst.
"This is how it should be," Phosa said. "As a treasurer I do not want any brown envelope pushed at me under the table."
