A five-year-old Soweto boy is recovering after being raped, allegedly by a man who also forced him to perform oral sex, Jabulani police said.
The child was shown pornographic videos by the man and then allegedly forced to perform oral sex on him, said Inspector Kay Makhubele yesterday. The man then allegedly sodomised the boy.
The man was arrested and will appear in the Protea magistrate's court soon. The boy's rape is one of four sexual offences Jabulani police are investigating since Sunday.
Two women, aged 22 and 21, and a 17-year-old girl also reported that they were raped. All three people implicated in those rapes were arrested. - Sapa
