Kanye, whose hits include Jesus Walks, and his bodyguard were arrested on felony and vandalism charges after an outburst of rage.
They are said to have attacked a photographer and smashed his equipment during a fracas at Los Angeles' Lax airport last Thursday.
He spent several hours in police custody before he was released. He'll face the charge against him in court on October 2.
