A 20-year-old man who allegedly assaulted a Durban woman with a stick before raping her yesterday morning was arrested at the crime scene, KwaZuluNatal police said.
Police spokesman Inspector Solomon Mbhele said the woman had been walking with her boyfriend in Pinetown when they were confronted by a man wielding a stick.
He demanded money.
