Seven men are to appear in court on charges of dealing in abalone in the Strand, Western Cape police said yesterday.
Spokesman Captain Elliot Sinyangana said police discovered three freezers with 9950 shucked and two with unshucked abalone where one of the men was arrested. The man had been linked to other cases of illegally possessing abalone.
The group would appear in the Strand magistrate's court. - Sapa
