Magdeline Thokoane, Modise's sister, said the funeral service will start at house number 1438, Legodi Street, Rockville, Soweto, at 7am before the cortege leaves for the cemetery.
Modise, who has also practised as a journalist in Botswana, died at a private clinic in Johannesburg on Monday morning after a long illness.
Meanwhile, Sowetan has organised a memorial service for Modise at the newspaper's premises in Industria West today at 1pm. - Ramatsiyi Moholoa
