A 42-year old man is today expected to appear in the Delerayville magistrates' court near Vryburg on charges of murder and robbery he allegedly committed 20 years ago.
Alfred Motlheze was arrested in Dobsonville, Soweto, last month.
North West police spokesman Superintendent Louis Jacobs said Motlheze's alleged accomplice died of natural causes.
The two were wanted for murder and hijacking ton the road between Delerayville and Ottosdal in April 1988.
The body of the driver was found few days later with gunshot wounds. - Elisha Molefe
