Riana Beech of ER24 said the Coin Security guard was shot in what appeared to have been an armed robbery at the Leaping Frog centre on William Nicol drive.
The shooting took place at about 11am.
The guard was airlifted to hospital. The circumstances of the shooting were not clear. It was not known how many robbers were involved. - Sapa
