Five men, three of them policemen, appeared briefly in the Klerksdorp magistrate's court in North West yesterday in connection with an ATM blast.
The five were arrested after the blast and a shootout with police in Jouberton. The court postponed their case to May 9 for bail applications. They were not asked to plead.
The policemen are Charles Legoale, 26, and Lucas Serole, 32, of the Mogwase SAPS and Gabonakgosi Hlongwane, 30, of the Klerksdorp detective division. Their alleged accomplices are Lawrence Mantshiyo, 35, and Modise Letsatsi, 38. - Sibongile Mashaba
