The Mpumalanga Academy of Sport has suspended coordinator Treasure Mashego after female participants accused him of sexually harassing them.
Mashego has effectively been suspended from coordinating the fitness leadership programme .
Though suspended, Mashego will continue working for the academy coordinating other programmes, said academy chief executive officer Besephi Sikhosana.
This follows allegations that Mashego sexually harassed female students attending the fitness leadership programme. The incidents are alleged to have happened at the academy in February.
"We view these allegations in a very serious light and that is why we have decided to suspend him," Sikhosana said.
