Police spokesman Captain Thivhulawi Tshilate said yesterday that the white Isuzu bakkie, registration number ND 472665, was parked at the Eendracht farm about 10am.
Two male suspects approached the driver with a firearm and demanded the keys to the vehicle. They covered his eyes with a cloth and ordered him to lie down before driving off with the bakkie.
The value of the vehicle is R170000. Tshilate said that a hijacking case docket has been opened by the Heidelberg police. - Sapa
