Congratulations to the ANCYL over its campaign to halt drunkenness - to reform our country.

There are no billboards advertising liquor in the suburbs, but our townships and rural areas are full of them.

The government must do something because the lives of our youth are being destroyed in nightclubs and shebeens.

There should be set times for liquor outlets to operate - and alcohol should not be sold to people under 18 years.

It's a shame to see 15-year-olds in village taverns. Strict measures should be put in place and no booze must be sold on Sundays.
