Former Fidentia boss J Arthur Brown yesterday accused the company's curators of destroying what used to be a highly profitable concern.

But curator Dinesh Gihwala dismissed the charge as "rubbish".

Brown said in court papers filed in a bid to stave off sequestration that he plannedto launch legal action to reverse the curatorship order issued in March last year.

He said Fidentia had made R45 million a month before it was placed under curatorship after an investigation by the Financial Services Board. - Anton Ferreira
