Mpho Tsedu, the former Muvhango actor and now one of the leading presenters on SABC Africa, is getting hitched.
The presenter of the influential current affairs shows African Perspective and Zwa Maramani, made his name when he assumed the lead role of Edward Mukwe-vho in Muvhango.
He confirmed yesterday that he is about to marry Mbali Hadebe, who is from Mofolo, in Soweto.
He also confirmed that he has already paid ilobolo, but declined to disclose the amount. He dismissed rumours that he had paid a fortune for Mbali.
"It would be highly unethical for me to discuss the issue of how much I paid. It is completely unAfrican to do so, and would be extremely disrespectful to my prospective in-laws.
Tsedu said he had been dating Mbali for a while before they decided to marry.
